When you start a new acne treatment, should your acne get worse before it gets better?
OK so I just started using this new acne medicine last night. It’s not proactive but it’s just like it. I’ve read that your acne will get worse before it gets better. Is this true? And if so, why? Is it because it brings the bacteria to the surface?
Oh, and if it does get worse before it gets better, should I pop the pimples or should I let the medicine do it’s trick?

It’s different for everyone. You need to find a face wash and stick with it. The best way to get rid of it is to wash your face twice a day with a wash that has a high content of salcylic acid. Before you wash, fill a sink with hot water and steam your face. That will help to open up your pores and let the medicine in to work. And most importantly, keep your hands away from your face except to wash it!

guh! DO NOT pop them..if you do you’ll just make it worse,, cause inflamation, infection, cause more, and maybe even bigger ones.
I really recommend an acne vanishing creme..perferabbly clearasil. I’ve sued it for a while and i havent had any acne problems..
When my friend got a few zits i let her borrow it and she LOVED it!
My friend used proactive for a while as well, she said the problem is it has to be ued in a continuous routine or else you’ll re-break-out. It has to be used DAILY.
I recommend clearasil, an almay toner, and again – an acne vanishing creme.
Also remember to wash your hands in which produce and attract oil..AND KEEP ‘EM OFF UR FACE!!

Yes it is true that acne treatment makes your face gets worse before it gets better. T hen please do not bust the pimples because it will make dark spots on your face and cause more to come due to bacteria.

i went with that bullsht and guess what…. IT NEVER GETS BETTER… thats when you kinda get the picture
It does get a little worse first, but not by much. It won’t appear to get better before about a month. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT pop pimples! That will definitely make it worse. I speak of personal experience.
