The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That’s because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin’s Sebum (oil) production. This results in…you guessed it – more acne.
So what’s the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won’t shock your body into more breakouts. Here’s what I recommend:
- Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.
- For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.
- Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.
- Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.
- Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.
- If acne medication isn’t working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.
- One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an "oatmeal mask". The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

well, there are plenty of ways to reduce acne.
http://cureacnezone.com/acne-treatment lists oral antibiotics, corticosteroids, surgery and natural product application (like cocoa butter or vitamin E). but, in as much as the effects vary from method to method, the reaction time also differs from skin to skin (person to person). it is important to find the method that best suits you.
I agree with those who said tanning helps. Also a product that’s worked well for me is FaceDoctor bar soap. The active ingredient is Seabuckthorn oil which dries out acne quite quickly and the bar lasts 4 months. Good luck!
I hate that I get it on my face/ hairline area weirdly enough/my back a bit here and there and then I at the extra on my chest just in case so I share your pain….
If you have a perscription or can get one, use it for your face use that on you back as well. Make sure though that it won’t over dry your skin, so use a good lotion afterwards…. also make sure your body wash is gentle enough so using your perscrition afterwards wont give you dry skin down the road….
but seriously find your skin tye and use cetaphil it is gentle, cleansing and works with acne perfectly…
You can even get Cetaphil products at Walmart for really cheap even though this brad is like number 1 reccommended by dermatoligists SOO AWESOME!!!
but sersiouly find your skin type first then get the cetaphil products for that skin type…
I also reccommend that you try basic natrual products, the best lotion is Vitamen E, it will take any blemish discoloration spot/scar areas and wil heal any dry skin…
First, you need to exfoliate. Simple take a damp rag and rub circles over your back where the acne is and on your shoulders. Don’t rub hard, this will irritate the skin. Rub gently. This will remove access skin that has been blocking your pores. Next, get a cleanser [ preferably nuetragina ] and rub the cleanser in circles on your back and shoulders. Then you will rinse and you will probably see results the next day. Repeat every day and your back will look awesome!
just keep your hair up and try to let your back be exposed to sunlight – this will dry up sports. Or you could try acne cream on your back? i have no idea if this actually works but you could give it a go? Try clean and clear pads or an ex foliating scrub. have a great trip by the way x
UV light or a nice walk in the sun!
The UVB light IN MODERATION will dry up the acne. My doctor first recommend phototherapy for my acne when i was young. I got into a horrible argument with them because they use teh same bulbs as tanning beds. (Both emit UV light to have your body react naturally as it would to UV light).
I just go tanning, works for me! I dont have to buy expensive products ever this way.
REmeber in moderation, its not the sun thats killing us, if anytihng its keeping us alive! its over exposure and sun burns that cause the whole cancer scare and premature aging bla bla.
Wash your back, like scrub it! You might want to buy a nice body oil for your back, it helps
try a body clering scrub i think neutrogena makes one.
Try tanning in a low-level bed (like a 20-minute bed) a few sessions before you go. Dermatologists often recommend tanning as a way to dry out acne-prone skin. The bulbs are RIGHT against your back so they should improve the skin and dry out the acne. Because it’s such a hard-to-reach spot, this is the easiest and likely the quickest way to clear it up on your own.
go to a spa and get a back facial. They do all the same things that they would do to your face and that should help clear some of it up in a few days. Not to mention they do extractions which will help big time
