What is a good acne treatment I can get in a local drugstore?
To give some background I was on the prescription medication Accutane from my sophomore through mid junior year, it treated my sever acne extremely well. Now I pretty much have clear skin, but I’m having slight little break outs here and there, especially under the edges of my jaw bone. What is a pretty good treatment that I could get at my local walgreens that could treat this fast and keep it under control?

Acne is an embarrassing skin condition that is characterized by whiteheads, blackheads and cysts.
There are many lotions that can treat acne, but these products can contain ingredients that can irritate the skin.
Fortunately, there are many quick acne home remedies that can be made using simple ingredients that can usually be found in your kitchen.
These recipes are very simple to make and use. In addition, they are very effective in combating those dreaded pimples!

I would look up Niapads – nicotinamide acne pads. If it is around the jaw, change pillow covers and wipe clean any equipment such as cellphone etc that come in contact with the area.
Make sure you’re not touching your face too much, because the oil from your hands can cause breakouts, and keep your hair out of your face at night, like in a high ponytail. As for treatments when you do break out, I use a foaming face wash and an astringent like clearasil.
i was using Clean&Clear Acne Advantage spot treatment, and that stopped work for me after a year. but right now, im using burt’s bees acne solutions targeted spot treatment, and i really like it! of course, it costs $10.00, but that’s because it’s 100% natural. but that’s another plus! here’s the links to the products mentioned:

(sometimes burt’s bees burns a little, but it still works!)

like i said, this stuff only worked for a year.
It sounds really weird, but I swear it works. I use plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and put a few drops of water on them until they dissolve. Then I spead it on my face where I have acne and I leave it on for 10-20 minutes and gently rub it off. The aspirin helps take down the redness and swelling, and it is grainy and exfoliating. It’s also really inexpensive. It may make you sneeze a lot, though. If you google it, you will see that a lot of people have had good luck with this as well, and they have different methods of using it like mixing it with aloe or honey.

As far as a good basic facial cleanser, I recommend Clean and Clear which you can get at the drugstore. However, to internally treat your acne very effectively and for a low cost I recommend Red Clover Acne Tea. This special blend of tea can only be purchased on line but is worth it.
I personally endorse this product because I use it and began using it without telling my familiy about it. I drink it one to two times a day.
Shortly after beginning to use it–about 2 weeks–I was helping my mother do something on the computer. She kept looking looking at me. Finally, she just stopped and said "What did you do to you skin?" Confused, I said nothing why? She said "It looks so much better and so healthy!" Thinking rapidly I responded "Oh, that. I started to drink this special tea to help me with my acne. I suppose it’s working!"
I’ve now been using red clover tea for a few month and my skin is healthier than ever. The bumps on my face have gone down, my skin is smoother than ever and my skin is less oily. The bumps on my back have also gone down. I still hae a few but compared to before they’re nothing about which to complain.
The best part is that it only costs me $15 every 6 weeks to 2 months to maintain my acne fighting routine which is significantly less than other acne fighting systems like Proactiv or Klear and my skin is not left feeling dry and tight, as is a common side effect with those systems.
I do continue to clean my face a few times a week with a facial cleanser and I do use a drying agent every now and again as they do have their benefits but I do not rely on them anymore.
Red Clover Acne Tea has been the most effective acne fighting product I’ve ever tried and will continue to us it.
