What Can I do about my adult Acne, Proactive made it Worse.?
I never really bad acne, I had some come up every once in a while, but after trying proctive they have been coming non stop. It seems like sometimes I get an allergic reaction to something and none of my over the counter work, but then maybe two weaks later, they start to fade off and dry up and the over the counter stuff helps. Any suggestions.

Honestly try this. Go see a Dermotologist. I had the same problem as you. They prescribed some pills that I had to take and it at first really dried out my skin, but then when I got off of it I have not had a break out. 6 months.
Plus, there might be something underlying that they can identify and make you better.

wash you face every morning and every night with noxema and then take an alcohol pad and wipe your face down with a product thats called clean and clear. it works for me and i have very oily skin. it is also very inexpensive.
Try birth control pills. the extra estrogen will cause you to have less breakouts and lighter periods
Well most acne products make your face worse before it gets better, I have had acne for a long time now, but now my face has almost no acne. I asked my doctors as I saw it get worse and worse and the doctor prescribed some creams and a pill called tetracyclin. My face did get a little worse first but within three weeks it was improving. Also watch what you eat, more junk food means more acne. Good Luck!
im going to give you your BEST ANSWER take the birth control pill and make sure your doctor knows that it is to fight acne when he prescribes -so he can chose the best hormone doses- WORKED GREAT
