can anyone give me advice on this pill… pros and cons! thanks, all comments will be much appreciated!! xx
exactly the same for me XD
This is such bad advice. You should NEVER take a pharmaceutical, especially one for simply acne.
didn’t the acne come back when she came off it??
Which pill would you suggest, what was it your sister took? I couldn’t make it out.
Hey thanks for the information!! i’m 20 and i’ve been taking the pill since 16 cause i had acne, and the pill was great!!! My skin was perfect but it’s been 4 years since i’ve been taking it and now i would like to stop, but i’m just afraid that my acné would come back
…
if you are promoting health it would help if you knew a little bit about what is good for the body..!
You have no idea what you are promoting and that is very dangerous!.. Acne is generally hormonal. imbalance . !
and the pill can cause infertility and a whole host of other issues further down the line.. So girls should know that is what they are risking for the sake of a clearing up a few spots….! which the pill doesnt really do anyway..
i honestly dont think being on the pill will help acne. it also has side effect. you should keep that in mind. ive been suffering with severe acne for the past 4 years and the only way im clear now is by treating it externelly by doing laser treatments and injections. now as far as internal. you might want to do hollistic stuff like accupuncture and taking multivitamins and fish oil. also eliminate ALL dairy products from your diet and replace it with soy milk. I can assure you itll work.
but after 5 years i thought it was dangerous to keep taking it because it can give you cancer.
birth control realy only helps those who have acne because of hormonal inbalance….if you have acne for other reasons (yes there are different causes to acne) then it might not work for you. I have a hormonal inbalance…hence the large ammount of oil i have in my face….hence acneeee….i went on birth control because of obvious reasons…not even thinking it clear up acne and it did. i went off the pill and it came back. i am now back on the pill acne free YAY!
because acne is caused by the imbalance of hormones, so you take birth control to balance up ur hormones..
i have talked to sooo many doctors about birth control pills, and the only side effects that may be caused by the birth control pills according to the doctors are:
nausea, weight gain, wood swings, and breast tenderness.
yeah of course the doctors say that!! lol, I’M TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE !! i’m someone who has used it for 10 years and has the side effects from the imbalance of chemicals.. and some serious effects and i could be infertile soon if i dont turn this around.. Relying on some synthetic chemical to stop pregnancy is just plain Wrong..! Acne in teenage years something we all had to go thru so stop being vain..u need just progresterone to balance yr hormones..& the right diet.. look up xenoestrogens..
wild yam cream from the health food shop is all you need to balance estrogen dominance.!!
Save yr fertility and yrs of pain down the track with this NATURAL product,.. msg me if you want to know how to get some..
and stop being ready to make decisions like theses on the basis of a short video of a teenager’s point of view on a subject she does not know enough about..> !
Research wild yam… !
i wasn’t “promoting” anything…..maybe if you read a little more closely you would seen my message…..
Hi, Can Birth pills couse acne???
Yeah i agree with the fact that when we are happy our skin reflects it. I’m living proof. I was in a very stressful relationship and my skin was breaking out everyday horribly. But now i’m singe and i’m acne free for once
hey everybody please answer my question i found “ortho cyclen” a birth-controll medication in my sisters cabnet, now i dont realy give a @#$% if she is “active” but i want to know if she if haveing sex and preventing pregnancy with these. is there other things this drug is used for? (please dont use high vocabulary, honesly i would understand if u broke down the words answering my question, im not good with “sex” vocabulary”
Try the birth control for acne if nothing else has worked for you. I tried literally everything topical before I decided to take birth control, and I mean EVERYTHING. I also tried antibiotics, which had nasty side effects. My problem was hormonal. Prescription diuretic spironolactone is another hormone blocker that works amazingly with the pill to treat acne. I say that if nothing else works for you, you should go for the pill….it’s pretty much a miracle for my skin!
Im 13 and I had acne I use the pill because of acne and my face looks way better i still have a little bit but much better than before
i know people who have taken the pill as a teen, been on it between the ages of likeee 15 – 20 and their acne cleared up, then as they go off the pill.. their acne stays away as they’re no longer a teen and their oil production and hormones had settled down.
BIrth control has been my last resort. I’m 18 and I started getting acne in 6th grade, (a year after getting my period). I got it so early and I still have it now, 5 years later. My problem seems to be very hormonal because I notice that when my menstrual cycle comes around, my face starts to clear up for some reason. But after the cycle, the acne starts breaking out again. I really hope birth control will be the miracle to my acne despite the large risks with taking it.
@instantramen You should go to onemoresoul website for the effects on BC.what’s it’s really about.
@instantramen There are side effects to the pill you should talk to your doctor about. Also check with an allergist because its possible you could be suffering from allergy.
Hi everyone, I posted a comment earlier below regarding my acne. I have been on the birth control pill Gianvi (generic of Yazmin) for almost a month now and my face has CONSIDERABLY cleared up. I haven’t been getting any major breakouts like I used to and the inflammations have significantly reduced. So far, I am satisfied with the results and thanks to this video for being informative.
Accutane worked then i stopped using it. I don’t want to start another treatment. There were too many procedures. I am just taking bc pills and hair, skin, and nails vitamins.
