Did you have breast growth with Spirnolactone? I am on it now and I’ve had crazy breast tenderness and I feel that they have grown larger.
@LcRose10 No, I haven’t had that side effect.
how long did it take exactly? Because Ive been taking it a month and I still havent seen results
@lesic67 I have taken it for a couple of years with a brief lapse in taking it. When I stopped eventually my skin broke out again so I started it back last September. It takes a month or two for my skin to clear up. Give it more time to work. When I first started taking it my dermatologist also gave me topical creams, but I don’t use any topical meds any more. Keep taking it & hopefully it helps. Check back w/ your doc too in case your dose needs to be tweaked. Good luck!
hello! im 17 and i have reallly persistant acne and i just recently found out about this. would i be to young to take this? and would it mess with my hormone levels?? i also heard it caused tumors in rats, but i could be wrong
@qwerasdzxc12 I think when I first got this medication I was told that it’s good for older women who have hormonal acne (I’m in my 30s), so I don’t know if it’s good for teen acne which may be caused by different factors than adult acne. I would highly recommend that you ask your doctor or dermatologist which treatments you should try. I know when I was younger a dermatologist suggested I get professional chemical peels and they helped me a lot at that time. So that may be an option for you.
@qwerasdzxc12 PS. Good luck!! There are good treatments out there…you just have to be patient and work with a doctor or dermatologist to find what works for you.
thank you !!!
