Is soap and water the best acne treatment?
I was wondering if soap and water is the best acne treatment. I have mild to moderate acne but don’t like having any! I also touch my face kind of a lot! 
Please help with anything you can, I was also thinking about using Clean and Clear?

clean and clear face wash EVERYDAY! and then after i use aloe lotion.

after eating greasy foods or any food….DONT touch your face. wash your hands….grease is probably the main reason why you have acne…because we all touch our faces after we touch railings or food…
If you just have breakouts that aren’t severe like acne then don’t use harmful, irritating, enflaming acne products.
Yes, I have started using soap and water and stopped picking and touching my face and there’s definitely a difference! It is not harsh on my skin and gets it cleansed. Use it instead of chemical products.
I’ve used just about every kind of acne medicine at the drugstore and I ditched them all except the occassional Clean & Clear Blackhead Remover Scrub and turned to soap and water.
What ever you do DONT use soap as it would be extremely irritating to your skin, basically it would dry it out terribly.
Give Clean and Clear a try. However, it you can, go to a skin specialist and they will help you out. I wish I had done that instead of going through years of worry.

no! soap and water are the worst things to put on your face, it can cause more acne and dry your face out. I use clean and clear 3 in 1 cleanser every night before bed. It works great. It helps prevent pimples and when I do get a sudden break out they have this little tube I forget what its called but its silver and purple, and it reduces redness and swelling in 8 or so hours. You should give it a try, it works great for me, and I have sensitive skin
no no no no no!!! soap and water! its just a surface clean,for acne you want a DEEP clean!! there are many products out there that can help mild acne,which is what you have, but make sure it says "oil free" and that it cleans pores!!

None prescription get out and work out regularly 4-5x a week and 1x week sauna plus drink lots of watter about 1 gallon a day, avoid soda, candy once or twice week is fine but not more than that! also wash your face every nite with antibiotic face soap, the best one is cetaphil !
Rx only tretinoin cream is $25 or and minocycline pill is $31 for month supply and any dermatologist or even a regular MD can prescribe it for you! good luck:)
