Is it alright to use a moisturizer after acne treatment?
Recently i’ve been getting breakouts on my face, proactive isnt working so i’m going to start using "AVON clearskin purifying gel cleanser", i also want to start using a moisturizer, i have "Aveeno positively ageless daily moisturizer SPF 30". I was wondering if it would be too much for my skin, or would it be alright to use right after i did used the acne treatment?

Yes absolutely. I suffer from acne and moisturising is a key part of my routine. Leaving your skin dry and tight encourages your skin to produce more oil because it wants to be more flexible and smooth, this in turn could cause more spots. I would recommend a non greasey moisturiser or oil free moisturiser. I have tried many, but i find ‘olay beauty fluid’ to be really good. After i apply my acne medication, i wait 10 minutes and then apply the moisturiser.

The face wash dries out your skin so you’re supposed to put on lotion to keep your skin moisturized.
If your face is really dry then it will produce more oils to moisturize your skin, which also means more breakouts.
