I have adult acne. What can I do to get rid of it?
I had a few breakouts as a teenager, but Im 33 years old now and have acne…. still! I have used different name brand cleansers and washes and even Ivory soap on my face. Toothpaste, Asprin, in small blocks consistently, nothing works. I have stopped wearing makeup and found it seems worse then. My husband told me the cleansers and face washes I use once to twice daily, are only going to make it worse. Any advice. I have tried these things through out the years. So, Help… please!

I’ve tried lots of different face washes and soap, but nothing worked. Then one year I got a sunburn on my face and my grandmother had this bottle of aloe very gel. The guy who runs it says to use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (like nutrogena, I prefer acne free, although it’s 2%, it works well) after you cleanse, spread a finger full(straight line up your pointer finger) ALL over your face.
