What a great video! I don’t have back acne, but I get the occasional chest pimple. Such great advice!!
@laceysmiles84 So glad you liked!
Hi! You have some really great tips. The Neutrogena scrubs and gels haven’t worked for me and I’ve struggled with bacne for 2 years now. One of the things I’ve learned is to scrub your back the VERY LAST thing you do in the shower. If you do it before, say, conditioning your hair, and you rinse your conditioner out, it gets in those freshly- cleaned pores on your back. A question I have for you would be how do you apply the scrub to your back? It’s hard to reach the middle of my back. Thanks!
@FrenchToastFace Glad this helped! I have trouble reaching the middle of my back as well. Lately I’ve just been reaching to get into awkward spots or if I’m showering with my bf I have him scrub my back! I suggest a boyfriend; it’s the easiest! I really like the back brushes that can be found at drugstores and places like Target or Walmart because the brush itself also helps to exfoliate. I hope that helps!
great video im going to try the st ives scrub and the neutrogena. i tryed the murad body wash with the body spray which worked pretty good but it only lasted for a month n they are pretty expensive so i went for the neutrogena body wash which contains 2% salicylic but itsnt really working for me so im hoping these two products u talked about will help. how long should i leave the apricot scrub on for? is it true that it makes ur pores bigger? i read somewhere its bad for back acne but ill try it
@Woscoe1503 I tried the Murad as well and I found the products to be ineffective for me. Just make sure you spend a good amount of time scrubbing rather than leaving it on; which is what really prevents the acne. As a rule I like to scrub individual sections for at least 10 seconds each. As far as it making pores bigger there is nothing in the ingredients that would do that and I don’t know anyone who has experienced that with this scrub
thanks so much for the informative video! i was wondering if the st ives scrub was harsher (or better for body acne) than the neutrogena body scrub?
@fnnygrndm The St. Ives scrub exfoliates more because it has more, rougher granules.
