How do you clear up back acne?
My friend has moderate acne on her back. She has big, red pimples on her neck and a few on her back. I want to help her cure and clear them up. What are some products you would suggest for her back acne? Thank!

If she has long hair wearing it up will help a lot!!! I know that’s a toughie because I ‘m sure hiding it with her hair is comforting but it does help. Also not using a lot of hair product will help expecially if she is wearing it down.
.As far as treatment goes there are several body washes and lotions for back acne. They contain salicylic acid which will help. I know both Proavtiv and Neutrogena carry these. Wash daily and if she is active wash after any activities like sports, dance, working out etc. You can even get those premoistened acne pads with salicylic acid and just wipe too if a shower isn’t convenient and then shower asap.
If she needs something stronger she can uses a benzoyle peroxide spot treatment (Neutrogena on the spot or Clean & Clear persagel 10) but this ingredient can bleach clothing!!!! So only use when wearing an old shirt

Ick, Bacne used to be a huge problem for me! She should make sure she washes her back very well when in the shower, perhaps investing in one of those long scrubby brushes? Also, exfoliation is a girls best friend! She should exfoliate regularly, perhaps with something that has sialic acid in it.
