Educational Skincare Routine, Zit Zapper, & Acne Mark Treatment (Clarisonic Giveaway Reminder)
READ ME TO LEARN MORE** I grew up with horrible acne and eczema to learn that trying too many acne treatment products can over dry and leave my skin looking unhealthy. I did attend pharmacy school to develop my knowledge in skincare. Having oily skin means your pores are thirsty and will over produce sebum (oil) that can cause, and environment for bacteria to grow into a pimple so the secret is to moisturize! Over time, I learn how to manage my skin with simple acne treatment ingredients, pharmaceutical knowledge, and when to use them properly. This is my daily skin care routine video and what I do to get rid of zits for sensitive, acne prone, slowing down the aging process, and oily combination skin. I will be starting my skincare educational series to be more specific with skin types and more. Please feel free to comment any request. @sweettreats121 Actually, all of my knowledge is based on my undergrad biology/health science studies and I went to pharmacy school =) Skincare was one of my favorite studies to help patients out when I was a pharmacist intern.
what age would you recommend to start using anti aging products?

I use pore strips to get rid of my white heads…. but how can I get rid of the black heads? And reduce the size of my pores? Big pores are a big NONO
And I have some pretty noticeable acne scars from when I used to get pimples and stuff as a teen. They are like little tiny holes. How can I get rid of that? Or at least make it look less visible.

Awesome tips!
Dont you know that any SPF over 50 adds negligible protection?
Its just an additional waste of money and chemicals.
Its a scheme by the big sunscreen companies.
Supposedly the FDA is thinking about making it so sunscreen companies that have over SPF 50 will have to put SPF50+ instead of SPF 100.
Im just wondering if you knew this, because you said you went to pharmacy school, and thats pretty basic knowledge
@lolgrunz aww thank you for taking the time to watch
@gva7 =)
@xmzjanix Any drugstore hun
@TwinkleX0 It depends on how much sun exposure, tan often, get sunburn, mental stress and if you use sunscreen. I recommend to start on average around your early 20s but if you had a lot of tanning, get sunburn often, or outdoors often to begin at the age of 18 using antiaging product 3 times a week since Vit A can be irritating. Vitamin A/Retinol is the best ingredient for prevention of aging and there are studies on it.
@TheMrFrontera Yes I know that. I only use it when out for a long time in the sun so using in moderation is fine. I did say anything over 30 SPF will be great in my video when out for in the sun for a longer duration. My tinted moisturizer and regular moisturizer haver spf 15 to 45 for everyday wear.
@popcornpizzapie1 Thanks
@bkmartinez123 They are for sure. I think people over look it but will keeps their retinol in stable containers to be active to work.
@ANGELFIRE0110 It’s not my first time to wear makeup. I started to wear foundation when my skin was getting so bad to cover as a teen but never got into eye makeup or blush. When I started to try eyeliner for the first time. gave me back my creative abilities again like painting as a child =) That’s when I knew I want to be a MUA =)
i love this video its so informative! thank you lisa
do you know of any products which consists of benzyl peroxide?
@TwinkleX0 most acne medication either has BP or salicylic aid. Go to the drugstore and check the ingredient at the acne area. You should go by percentage strength for each product. Lower percentage for every use and high percentage for major breakout but beware of over-drying your skin using a higher percentage of benzoyl peroxide.
Where can I find Avalon vit C and ROC products?
@BeautySplurge thankyou i love how helpful u are & how u always try 2 reply back to your viewers!
Please do more on oily skin!
