I found a “virgin” blackhead on a 40 year old boyfriend’s back. I took my time. Firstly I scraped the top slightly to ensure a smooth passage with no curl. I then worked slowly & gently at first, working it, watching as it rose majestically like a column from his back. It was 8mm in length and 2mm wide. Black at the top with rings of grey fading to an off white. It had a not unpleasant aroma reminiscent of a good French cheese.
