@banishedangel6 It works for my cousin (and apparently, Jennifer Love Hewitt). For me, though, it doesn’t work at all. My skin just gets dry and then really oily. Like every other skin secret, it doesn’t work for everyone.
Though I have pretty bad skin (trust me, I’ve tried everything but then just “grew out of the acne stage”). You’ve got nothing to lose from trying toothpaste, but just know it might not work for you.
Best acne treatment? A dermatologist.
@ProjectVignette gone to 4 since I was 15 (22 now ^_^) and it still didn’t work. Experimenting and finding a balance works for me. When u go to a derm, they see your face..and they give you 1) a face lotions 2) a face wash and 3) an antibiotic. U try it ..it doesn’t work..u come back and they give you those 3 things but different brands. I have learned that if I buy my own products and adjust themt o my own skin type..it works much better……so I tried u’re advice 4 times already.
@banishedangel6 yes it works but …don’t use the one with mint flavoring because it actually irritates the skin. Try brands with baking soda in it…..those actually works wonders…so toothpaste is a gamble some works and some will make you hate yourself for trying ^_^”
Thank you!
this helps!
Most of my skin is really clear… except my nose. I have big pores and little pimples on it. I use proactive but is there anything you think I can add to clear that area up?
@SecretLifeOfaBioNerd Haha, that’s probably where I went wrong. ^_^
Do you know of a toothpaste brand that works really well? And I’m wondering how the baking soda helps.
Thanks!
@SecretLifeOfaBioNerd Oh geez, Four? In that case, your method seems to work best. Your skin looks perfect! When you started experimenting and finding that balance, what did you look for first?
What is cystic acne?
uhh….no thanks, I prefer a cheaper alternative…a natural face mask using plain yogurt and some lemon juice. Also a nice steam facial plus a acne treatment immediately afterwards also helps…. To me this feels too much like a Ad for products.
@ProjectVignette Baking soda is salt that soaks up oils like mad!! so u can actually use baking soda as a mask…dilute it in water and put it on wear your pimple is..then wash it off after 20 mins or so…it works better (IMO) than toothpaste with baking soda in it!
@sineadmeader OMG I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!
@MaggieRoXsUtUbE I think i figured it out on my own actually! I use a spot treatment all over and it dries everything out I believe i use the clearasil. Its usually really oily too so i picked up some oil absorbing sheets but I haven’t really needed to use them. I also saw another video on here that says use a think layer or school glue to take out any impurities and that totally works too!
I ‘m 15 and my skin’s has cleared up about 80 percent..but I have scars from the old acne on my chin and forhead…help..??
i have scars from past acne. how can i clear up my skin???
@MsHimza thats what i want to know too
Does anyone have peroxide problems with this product? Whenever I use this there’s stains left on towels and clothing of a orangish color. Any ways to remove such?
be weary of st. Ives apricot scrub and others like it. The hard walnut shell pieces actually cause tiny tears and cuts in the skin. These tears attract bacteria( which can cause more breakouts)and over time can ruin the elasticity of you’re skin. I used to use St. Ives and loved it, but i constantly had oily skin and extreme acne. I switched to ground almonds and oatmeal, works just as well and my skin is 80% less oily and my acne has never been calmer.
@MsHimza homemade toner… its the best…for more info…view bubzbeauty
can i just make all the pimples just like stoppp like now?
How do you get rid of acne scars?
how can get rid of dark spots caused by acne? :O
Doees It Work?:D
Okaay It Works!:D
hey, your skin looks wonderful, nice nice video, I had the same problem, and it works for me too! great advices. another think that can help is vitamin E oil when the skin is very dry.
