Acne treatment Levulan: Day 2
Day 2 of my acne treatment. Not as painful as day 1, just itchy. Levulan actually shrinks the sebaceous glands, inhibiting future breakouts.

hello! Thank you very much for posting this video!!! I am thinking about having this treatment next month. i have oily skin and acne too and I’ve been looking for some procedure that really shrinks the sebaceous glands because I think that´s the root of the problem.. I have also researched into acne teatments and this one seems to be the best.. I know how you must feel now because your face is sort of red but i’m sure your skin will look beautiful in the next few days…
please go on posting the videos!! I have put all my trust in this treatment because I am tired of applying irritant creams on my face and see that the real solution must be inside the pores, in the sebaceous glands.. if they shink then the bacterium will have a very hostile environment to grow and will leave you alone..how many treatments do you need? will the sebaceous glands shrink forever or will you have to do this maybe every three months or sth? is it necessary to apply IPL before levulan?
@Rosvigis Hi, so yeah my face looks hideous right now, but today is the third day, and It feels tight, but no pain. A sign that it should peel soon. I know how you feel, I have REALLY oily skin, and I had a problem with wanting to pick all of my congestion, leaving me with scarring. But this treatment claims to get rid of scarring too. The office I got it at is in Vegas, and a majority of the people working there had it done, I saw their before and after photos, and knew this was the answer.
It’s been 2 months after I’ve done the Levulan treatment and the difference for me ,I must say , ISN’T WORTH my money. Just like any other acne treatments out there. Take your chances, because there’s no sure way to get rid of acne completely.
Accutane was the only thing that worked for me, but after I stop taking it acnes returned. I strongly don’t recommend it if you’re vunerable to diarrhea and another bad side effect is very dry and chapped lips. (research it more)
